"Treasures of Montezuma is by far
the most clever and engaging puzzlers I've ever played. One of the
most addicting elements of the game is the upgrades you can make
to your powers after each round. These vary from the amount of gems
that can appear on screen, the amount of time you have, or the power
of your TNT--this obviously is not officially sanctioned archaeology!--and
there are more. This power to upgrade adds a whole new layer to
the game and gives you so many possibilities that you may want to
play through multiple times, trying different things. I am doing
just that. Try it, you'll be amazed at how much fun this game is."-

"Treasures of Montezuma is made for
powerup junkies. Bonus items are essential for the levels and you
will quickly learn to use them as you get further and further into
the game. For example-- clear a row of four or more blocks and a
powerup will appear somewhere. The powerup will be attached to a
statue, and if you destroy that statue, it will let loose the powerup
to wreak havoc on the board. Montezuma powerups can be like dynamite
that simply explodes, or color-specific bombs that will destroy
multiple blocks of one color, or even lightning balls that will
take out all of the blocks above it in that row. There are many
more to be found, and you can upgrade them all in power between
rounds. You soon choose your favorites and find yourself agonizing
over which to upgrade with you bonus stars before beginning the
next round. It's very addictive. I keep coming back to the PC to
try a new upgrade strategy!" - Grinning Gamer
"Treasures of Montezuma is not your
run-of-the-mill match 3, oohh nooo, this is MUCH better,.. one is
the most effectively thought out games I have seen in a long time.
Treasures is pleasing to the eye as well as to the ears! Way to
go Visual Shape Games. Thanks to Pixel Paradox for the download."

"Treasures of Montezuma is an excellent
game. It is built on the same match 3 basics, but the sound, graphics,
story and special effects here are really astouding. This is a new
generation of games that makes Bejeweled seems like the old Pac
Man. I really like it and I am going to buy it." - Been

"The Treasures of Montezuma is just
amazing. Following the "mexican wave" of games like Aztec
Bricks, the graphics and story are really interesting and the gameplay
won't let you stop playing again and again. The special effects
make this game unique and the music is great. A MUST HAVE."
